Not to be a pessimist, but aren't there enough blog sites out there already? I barely have time to come check the msg boards, much less blog. I think you should enhance what is already here, instead of adding more and more stuff. You asked! :D

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! This is the stuff we want to know! I'm interested to know what type of enhancements you'd like to see. We are working at keeping the content refreshed on a more timely basis, but I'd like to know what you need from the site.

There are lots of neat things and info on this site, but I think some type of info about things to do w/children in the area would be GREAT! For instance, I bet many ppl new to this area don't know about the little zoo in Hackett, Deer Acres. And maybe a calendar of events of things happening locally that are kid-friendly. Lots of us have kids at home that aren't in school yet, so it leaves us out of the loop of kid-friendly adventures!

Also, dating the posts written by your contributors would be good.

Love the giveaways. Keep up the good work!

GREAT feedback! We just got connected with 3 organizations in the area who will begin sending us their calendar of events- all should be updated by week's end. I'm also trying to get some local companies on board to host FortSmithMoms.com days at their locations and give us a discount(like Scoops for ice creame or painting or Bowling World or Crystal Palace).

Good idea about dating the post- I'll start doing that immediately! It's your ideas that will keep this site alive so please don't be shy! Continue to send in any and all ideas. This site is BY MOMS, FOR MOMS!:D

P.S. I'd really love for more moms to start sharing their funny stories, kid comments, etc.- I just love reading that stuff.

BTW, hooray for getting the function for editing msgs up and running! :D I'm still not seeing the tab for deleting posts?
