Checking to see if any of you would be interested in FortSmithMoms.com putting together a montly speakers series. We could have it at a local restaurant- during the day, lunch time, so both working and stay at home moms could attend. Speakers would center around women and kids- always be something worth our (Moms) time. Could even be a how-to seminar (craft, cooking, etc.) Would last about an hour and would include lunch.

There may be a cost involved, but no more than just the cost of lunch.

Whatcha think ladies??? Just an opportunity for us all to get together once per month. VERY open to alternate ideas and suggestions on this!

I would like doing that. When my husband was in the Army there were things that was offered that spouses could attended. I love learning anything new to teach or do with my kids. Just going out and having an hour with out them would be nice.

I love the idea. I don't know any moms of younger kids, all my friends have older kids so I would love to meet new moms and first time moms. Let me know.:)

sounds great to me. i too would love to meet moms with youger infants and first time mommys like myself. it would be great to compare ideas and stories.

I was just thinking how I would like to put a face with the names I have been chatting up with. I think this is a wonderful idea not only meet our fellow friends but also learn something I think that is spectacular.

i agree totally. not that i dont' love being a stay at home mommy but sometimes it gets lonely. maybe when lilly learns to talk lol !
