The Very Hungry Caterpillar & other Eric Carle Favorites
Saturday, Nov. 22, 11:00am - Ticket range: $10 to $16 
Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia returns to Northwest Arkansas for another of their spectacular black light shows! The triple-bill includes the wonderful story of THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR's metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly; the fanciful account of LITTLE CLOUD's travels through the sky, and the MIXED-UP CHAMELEON's discovery of his own unique nature. The whimsical tales have enchanted several generations, and Mermaid's acclaimed stage adaptation teaches as well as entertains.

WEE Draw -- The ABCs of ART

 

Ages: 3-5 yrs.
Date: Tuesday, June 10,17 & Thursday, June 12, 19
Time: 10:30am - Noon or 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Fee: $15 per class

The morning activities are repeated in the afternoon.
There are 4 different classes offered. You may attend all four or
choose from any of the four.
Choose the time that best fits your child.

Your little "wee-drawer" will develop a visual vocabulary as they paint sing and draw. They will learn how to look at the art of Vincent van Gogh, Paul Klee and others as we stir their imagination. Dirty duds are recommended. Parents are asked to stay and enjoy doing art with their child.

 

Artist's Canvas Painted Shoes

Ages: 6-14 yrs.
Date: July 29
Time: 10 am - Noon or 1pm - 2:30pm
Fee: $15 per class

(Paint supplies are included. Students will furnish their own canvas shoes.)

Students will research the painting style of a famous artist of their choice, then design a pair of painted shoes reminiscent of that artist. Students will work with Tee Juice Fabric Markers. They will need to bring a pair of canvas shoes that are free from dirt and oils.
