Summer 2009 Children's Camp

Children’s Camp Mandatory Meeting — There are only a few weeks remaining to sign up for this summer’s Children’s camp. The camp is for those who have completed 3rd-6th grade and is scheduled for June 1-4 at Summit Camp in Grove, Oklahoma. Cost is $130 (includes a camp shirt). There will be a mandatory pre-camp meeting for parents and campers on Sunday, May 31, immediately following the second service, in the Student Venue on the Fort Smith campus. Final payments and paperwork will be due on this day. To sign up for camp or for more information, e-mail matt@communitychurch.com or call Matt at the church office.

First Presbyterian Church VBS

Welcome to First Presbyterian Church, Fort Smith's VBS 2009 Evening Family Camp!

Get ready for singing and dancing, crafts, games, skits, a fun video series featuring Chadder the Chipmunk, and engaging Bible stories that will strengthen your child's faith! At Crocodile Dock, your child will go on a Bayou Bible adventure that will help him or her discover how to see God in everyday life. Camp is from Monday, June 8, to Friday, June 12, from 5:30-8:00 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church's Family Center, with dinner provided to all participants free of charge. Parents, older siblings, and grandparents are invited to join the "crew" and experience VBS along with the kids--a great way for families to grow closer!

Our VBS is open to preschoolers from age 3 (potty-trained) to age 5 (entering kindergarten) and to elementary schoolers from age 6 (entering 1st grade) to age 11 (entering 6th grade).
