The Park at West End: 2nd Street & Garrison

This unusual amusement park near the river's edge is a fun way to get an aerial view of downtown Fort Smith from atop an antique Ferris Wheel. Take a spin on the hand-painted carousel then hop aboard the Nickel & Dime Diner for a good meal. A 1963 double-decker bus poses as a concession stand. The park, under new management, will now serve soft-serve ice cream treats like banana splits and milk shakes.

Friday nights will once again rock with their summer concert series. Call 479-785-4225 for more information.
