Summer Adventures in Art!!
The Center For Art & Education offers a summer schedule filled with a variety of art experiences and adventures for preschool through 8th grade students. There are a limited number of scholarships available.
All classes require full payment and pre-registration to insure your spot in the class.

WEE Draw -- The ABCs of ART
Ages: 3-5 yrs.
Date: June 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, and 25
Time: 10:30am - 11:30am
Fee: $10 per class
The morning activities are repeated in the afternoon.
There are 4 different classes offered. You may attend all four or choose from any of the four.
Choose the time that best fits your child.
Your little "wee-drawer" will develop a visual vocabulary as they paint sing and draw. They will learn how to look at the art of Vincent van Gogh, Paul Klee and others as we stir their imagination. Dirty duds are recommended. Parents are asked to stay and enjoy doing art with their child.

Art-a-Rama
Two sessions each day:
Session 1: 10am - Noon and Session 2: 1pm - 3pm
Register for one class, one day, or a full week of classes
Ages: 6 - 14 yrs.
Fees: $10 per class (2 classes/day)

Students will be inspired to think three dimensionally as they work with clay, foam, and papier-mâché. They will also learn techniques in 3D drawing.

Discover and explore creative new techniques in experimental art using unusual materials to create your own personal works of art.

‘Mosaicing’ Along & Stain Glass, Too!
Using the techniques of great mosaic artists, learn the art of creating mosaics , along with creating detailed stain glass art and other glass techniques.

Space Art
“The Final Frontier”
Travel through space without leaving the earth by visualizing and creating your own infinite creative passages through outer space.
Students will complete an art project in each class. Dirty duds are required. (We can accommodate parents who work. Ask about special hours.)
Enrollment is limited to 15 students per class. Students are accepted on a first come, first served basis. All camps are staffed by a professional artist/educator or professional artist and young adult volunteer interns. Any withdrawals made less than one week before the start of the camp will be refunded at 50% of the registration fee. Withdrawals made after the course has started will not be refunded.
