Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia returns to Northwest Arkansas for another of their spectacular black light shows! The triple-bill includes the wonderful story of THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR's metamorphosis into a beautiful butterfly; the fanciful account of LITTLE CLOUD's travels through the sky, and the MIXED-UP CHAMELEON's discovery of his own unique nature. The whimsical tales have enchanted several generations, and Mermaid's acclaimed stage adaptation teaches as well as entertains.

"Jellies" Design Idea
by Julie Jones

To make this layout, you will need:
- 1 piece of 12x12 cardstock
- 2 pieces of patterned paper (different patterns)
- 2 4x6 photos (1 horizontal and 1 vertical)
- Alphabet stickers or stamps
- Misc. phrase stickers and embellishments

To begin, lay your sheet of 12x12 cardstock on your working surface. Trim your two pieces of patterned paper to 5x8 and 5x9 approximately. Adhere them side by side in the middle of your cardstock, slightly tilted and overlapping each other. Attach both of your photos, so that they are touching. One on one sheet of patterned paper, one on the other sheet. Add your title underneath the photo on the left. In order to get a centered title, you can count your number of letters, pick the one that is right in the middle, place it down and work from that letter out. I used stickers, but you could also use stamps. Place the brackets around your title to help it stand out. Add misc. stickers and embellishments around your photos to make a "frame". Add your journaling with a pen.

Detailed supply list:
- Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
- Patterned Paper: KI Memories
- Stickers: 3 Bugs in a Rug (phrases), American Crafts (brown letters), EK Sucess (circle accent), Heidi Swapp (chipboard brackets)
- Decorative Brad: Making Memories (key)
- Pen: Zig Millennium

Tips: A lot of patterned papers are made double sided. This is time saving and cost efficient because you could buy one sheet of patterned paper and cut it into the desired lengths for your project and know that they will coordinate together. Also, a tip for coordinating patterned paper is to work within the same manufacturer, like I did with KI Memories. Most manufacturers make their lines to coordinate together.
